Not so long ago I used to tease my mother for her sewing….calling her “Betsy Ross.” Then I asked for a sewing machine a few Christmases ago. And not being one to disappoint on the gift giving scene, Betsy (aka Mom) delivered. It took a year before I took that bad boy outta the box. One fateful weekend day, hubby had the kids somewhere and I actually started to sew. My projects are coming along slow and steady, but my obsession with fabric has gotten out of control. I thought I’d share some of my favorites, just because I love them so much. Maybe my next post will actually show something that I have sewn. Hmmm … what a concept!
One of these lucky candidates will provide a pop of color to my guest room . . . if I ever renovate it.
I love each of these for my sofa upholstery . . . if I ever get the guts to try my hand at re-upholstery.
Would love to make a fabric covered canvas wall hanging for my dining room . . . some day.
These fabrics actually became linking elements in my bedroom . . . a reveal I am almost ready to share
This bright color palette is the inspiration behind my little girls room . . . Phase 1: blinds – check!
Pretty patterns for my sunroom pillows? Um, yes please!
Well, I hope you enjoyed looking as much as I enjoyed posting. Happy sewing or happy ‘fabricing’ (my made up word for the act of fabric searching without the actual act of sewing anything with the fabric.
